This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Retrieve and obtain medical documentation from client systems, such as implant invoices, UB-04 forms, Explanations of Benefits, and components of medical records.
• Submit lists of document requests and track outstanding submissions.
• Scan, upload, and securely store medical documentation and confidential patient health information in compliance with data handling standards.
• Compile client reconciliations by collecting and organizing data from client systems and EnableComp platforms.
• Investigate closed and returned claims, resolve outstanding items, post adjustments, enter refund and payment research requests, and review or rebill any missing claims.
• Assist in resolving prebill work queue issues while adhering to established KPI standards.
• Collaborate with Client Delivery to communicate operational insights and escalate client-impacting concerns.
• Identify and report issues within client systems, workflow obstacles, and process deficiencies.
• Recognize and escalate recurring reconciliation-related process deficiencies.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation within the E360 platform.
• Utilize multiple systems for precise and timely data entry.
• Support departmental workflow and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide suggestions for process improvement opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or document management settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical claims documentation and payer/provider data processes is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic knowledge of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Capacity to manage large workloads while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a heightened sense of urgency.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision, juggle multiple tasks, and prioritize assignments within time constraints.
• Proficient in effectively communicating issues, challenges, and outcomes that impact task completion timelines.
• Ability to interact professionally at various organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
