
Client Success Manager – Independent & Charter Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main liaison for business managers, CFOs, bookkeepers, and operational leaders at partner schools.
• Assist finance teams in reconciling platform transaction data with bank statements, general ledgers, and Student Information Systems.
• Take ownership of discrepancy tickets, investigate transaction logs and chargebacks, and clarify root causes.
• Support clients in extracting and customizing financial reports for board reporting, month-end/year-end closure, and external audits.
• Convert school fund accounting terminology into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.
• Oversee a portfolio of Independent and Charter school accounts.
• Enhance account health, customer satisfaction, referenceability, transaction volume adoption/growth, and Net Revenue Retention.
• Provide guidance to leadership teams across Finalsite’s CMS, EMS, Communications, Admissions, and Marketing Services ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, training, design, and consulting in collaboration with Sales.
• Monitor account health metrics using ChurnZero and Salesforce, pinpoint churn indicators, and advocate for clients.
• More than 5 years of combined experience in Client Success, Account Management, SaaS Customer Support, or School Business Office/Finance/Marcomm operations.
• Background in payment processing, reconciliation workflows, transaction matching, ACH/credit card settlement timing, or ledger entries.
• Understanding of the operational frameworks, enrollment drivers, and governance of Independent and/or Charter schools.
• Skilled in spreadsheets, analyzing payment/data logs, and identifying root-cause patterns within complex data sets.
• Willingness and eagerness to continually learn new SaaS products and master Finalsite’s comprehensive software suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of simplifying complex technical or financial concepts into clear language.
• Preferred: familiarity with school finance software, fundraising platforms, or K–12 SIS/ERP tools such as PowerSchool, Blackbaud, Skyward, Infinite Campus, or Veracross.
• Preferred: experience with ChurnZero, Gainsight, Salesforce, Zendesk, or Jira.
• Preferred: background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or fund accounting within an EdTech/FinTech setting.
