Client Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage an all-encompassing infrastructure, security, and technology strategy for clients

• Act as the primary technical consultant for client environments

• Mentor and develop Client Solutions Architects

• Initiate and oversee a formal mentorship program

• Formulate personalized development plans for mentees

• Conduct bi-weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions

• Advise architects on cloud architecture, security frameworks, and emerging technologies

• Provide practical training in solution design methodologies and architectural patterns

• Facilitate technical workshops and sessions for knowledge sharing

• Evaluate solution designs, technical proposals, and client presentations

• Direct and synchronize infrastructure team efforts across various technical domains

• Develop and apply best practices for infrastructure, security architecture, and technology roadmaps

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends

• Cultivate an understanding of clients’ business objectives, technical environments, and operational challenges

• Identify and alleviate technology and security risks

• Create and uphold strategic technology roadmaps

• Serve as the main escalation point for complex technical issues and client inquiries

• Build and sustain client relationships

• Collaborate with Client Success Managers to ensure client satisfaction and manage exceptions

• Participate in client meetings as a technical authority

• Work alongside the Project Management Office on technology implementations and migrations

• Coordinate with service delivery teams on project roadmaps

• Assist in client renewal and expansion discussions

• Deliver 3-5 significant strategic technology projects each quarter

• Achieve at least 85% of planned technology roadmap milestones

• Introduce 2 or more technology solutions or enhancements for each client annually

• Complete technology assessments for all new client onboardings within 45 days

• Resolve over 90% of potential technology risks prior to client impact

• Perform other related duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-9 years of progressive experience in IT

• 3+ years in roles involving direct client engagement

• 5+ years in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments

• Current certification as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Current AWS certification

• Current CISSP certification

• Expert-level proficiency in cloud architecture

• Expert-level proficiency in security frameworks, including NIST and CMMC 2.0

• Expert-level proficiency in emerging technologies

• Exceptional skills in managing relationships with C-level executives

• Strategic ability to transform business goals into actionable technology roadmaps

• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences

• Dedication to ongoing learning

• Collaborative mindset across Client Success and Project Management teams

• Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings
