Client Services Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture customer relationships via phone, email, and various communication channels.

• Develop and update patient orders and demographics while adhering to intricate ordering protocols, procedures, and policies.

• Assess, research, and respond to inquiries regarding test information, specimen requirements, supplies, and associated fees.

• Deliver professional, empathetic, precise, and prompt customer service.

• Apply judgment on complex job responsibilities to support patients, customers, and ARUP.

• Oversee cases through effective prioritization, comprehensive documentation, and diligent follow-through.

• Offer education, guidance, and solutions related to available resources, information, and application functionalities.

• Utilize multiple ARUP systems to investigate and resolve customer concerns.

• Act as a liaison between ARUP customers and technical departments.

• Undertake additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or higher.

• Capability to type at least 35 WPM and proficient 10-key skills.

• Fundamental computer skills, including internet proficiency and the ability to navigate computer and phone systems effectively.

• For remote workers: internet download speed of 75mbps and upload speed of 50mbps, or the ability to acquire this prior to the start date.

• Preferred: Completion of college-level courses in medical terminology, biology, communications, or related life sciences.

• Preferred: General experience in a medical laboratory setting.

• Preferred: At least one (1) year of customer service experience.

• Preferred: Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).

• Preferred: Intermediate computer skills, including internet proficiency.

• Preferred: Training or knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

• Must adhere to CDC and OSHA regulations as well as company policies regarding PPE in a biohazard laboratory environment.

• Must comply with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
