Client Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service to a designated portfolio of clients.

• Engage directly with clients, create tailored procedures, address inquiries, plan for upcoming stock plan events, ensure data accuracy, and oversee the administration of equity plans, which includes processing, stock issuance, settlement, taxation, and reporting.

• Coordinate and collaborate with relevant third-party vendors, such as brokers and transfer agents.

• Act as a support escalation point for team members in resolving issues and providing assistance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Certent, including sales, support, and engineering, to deliver precise and timely client administration services.

• Handle multiple client relationships and projects while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in customer service, specifically with corporate clients.

• Demonstrated knowledge of stock options, employee stock purchase plans, restricted and performance awards, ASC 718, and/or corporate accounting administration.

• CEP Certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a collaborative setting.

• Excellent analytical skills and independent problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and issues for multiple clients in a dynamic work environment.

• Highly resourceful and detail-oriented, capable of delivering thorough and accurate outcomes.

• Experience with various types of Equity Plans in both private and public companies is preferred.

• Ability to recognize and implement process enhancements.

• Familiarity with equity compensation taxation, accounting regulations, and relevant compliance standards is preferred.
