This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a specific portfolio of Regional and National Account clients from the initial implementation phase through ongoing management.
• Facilitate both virtual and face-to-face meetings with clients based on their requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Client Consultants, Account Executives, Underwriters, brokers, and internal service teams.
• Coordinate solutions involving underwriting, claims, billing, implementation, enrollment, tax services, and other business partners.
• Enhance customer and broker engagement through strategic account planning, business reviews, and consultations.
• Advocate for value-added services, product improvements, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Assist in achieving customer retention, growth, profitability, and satisfaction goals.
• Organize annual enrollment activities, communication strategies, and administrative tasks.
• Lead the renewal process alongside Account Executives and Underwriters.
• Keep customer records and documentation in line with enterprise standards.
• Recognize process enhancements that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Convey underwriting concepts, claims experiences, pricing justifications, and benefit plan factors.
• Execute Plan Administration reviews and manage eligibility file feed implementation and upkeep.
• Collaborate with Implementation Teams and Account Executives during the onboarding process.
• Conduct training and onboarding for the Employer Portal.
• Initiate customer welcome calls and facilitate the transition to ongoing account management.
• Aid in discussions regarding plan design, add-issue opportunities, finalist meetings, prospect presentations, and pre-sale initiatives.
• Create and deliver customized solutions for customers.
• Engage in special projects and organizational initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Group Employee Benefits, focused on managing client relationships in account management, customer success, or client service.
• Preference for experience in account management, sales, or underwriting.
• Preferred experience in supporting Regional and/or National Account clients.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, cultivate strong client relationships, and address complex service challenges.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and consultative relationship management abilities.
• Proficient in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholder groups.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Group Life & Health License required based on the assigned book of business.
• Must fulfill ongoing continuing education requirements.
• Group Benefits Disability Specialist designation required within one year of employment.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 20% of the time.
