This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Propel revenue expansion within a specified territory of schools and districts.

• Take ownership of and meet a personal revenue quota, striving to exceed quarterly and annual objectives.

• Develop and implement territory plans that identify key districts and schools.

• Maintain a robust pipeline, address revenue challenges, accelerate significant deals, and nurture existing partnerships.

• Manage the complete sales process with superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other key stakeholders.

• Conduct discovery sessions and convert client requirements into customized FranklinCovey solutions.

• Create strategic account plans that include multi-year growth strategies, stakeholder engagement approaches, and success metrics.

• Navigate RFPs, board approvals, and budget cycles effectively.

• Utilize Salesforce, Domo, and other essential tools for pipeline management, opportunity monitoring, and forecasting.

• Engage in cross-functional territory teams to coordinate outreach and ensure a unified client experience.

• Collaborate with coaching, implementation, and retention teams on deal transitions, renewals, and expansions.

• Align with the Managing Director and sales leaders regarding territory strategy and complex deals.

• Keep Salesforce and other necessary systems up to date.

• Continuously enhance sales skills and incorporate coaching and feedback.

• Adapt tactics in response to evolving market conditions and district needs.

• Engage in training, self-improvement, and knowledge sharing.

• Travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and internal gatherings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Over 5 years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership.

• Strong preference for experience selling to K–12 districts.

• Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or surpassing a multi-million-dollar annual quota or comparable performance target.

• Proven ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling approaches.

• Track record of winning and expanding business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly shifting environments.

• Ability to lead strategic discussions with senior district and school leaders.

• Capacity to identify performance challenges within a territory and implement effective solutions.

• Strong, persuasive communication skills in writing, virtually, and in person.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in internal meetings.
