This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of a personal revenue target, striving to meet or surpass quarterly and annual goals.
• Develop and implement territory strategies that pinpoint key districts and schools while integrating education funding policies.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, mitigate revenue risks, expedite key deals, and enhance existing partnerships.
• Oversee the entire sales process with superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other educational stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough discovery sessions and translate client requirements into customized FranklinCovey solutions.
• Create strategic account plans that include multi-year growth strategies, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and success metrics.
• Navigate RFPs, secure board approvals, manage budget cycles, and handle complex purchasing processes.
• Utilize Salesforce, Domo, and other necessary tools to manage the pipeline, monitor opportunities, and ensure precise forecasts.
• Engage in cross-functional territory pods to synchronize outreach efforts and provide a seamless client experience.
• Collaborate with coaching, implementation, and retention teams during deal transitions, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Align with the Managing Director and sales leaders on territory strategy, complex deals, and broader sales insights.
• Keep Salesforce and other essential systems up to date.
• Enhance sales skills through coaching, feedback, training, and self-improvement initiatives.
• Identify performance gaps, test new approaches, and modify strategies to achieve better outcomes.
• Share effective practices with the pod and the wider team.
• Travel as necessary for client meetings, industry events, and internal gatherings.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience selling to K–12 districts.
• Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual quota or equivalent performance benchmarks.
• Proven ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling techniques.
• Successful track record of securing and expanding business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly evolving environments.
• Capability to lead strategic discussions with senior district and school officials.
• Proficient in diagnosing performance-related challenges within a territory and implementing effective solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively in various formats.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Domo.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions, industry events, and internal meetings.
