This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Take ownership of a personal revenue target, consistently meeting or surpassing quarterly and annual goals.
β’ Develop and implement territory strategies that highlight priority districts and schools while considering pertinent education funding policies.
β’ Maintain a robust pipeline, mitigate revenue risks, expedite key transactions, and enhance existing relationships.
β’ Oversee the entire sales cycle with superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other educational stakeholders.
β’ Conduct thorough discovery sessions to convert client needs and challenges into customized FranklinCovey solutions.
β’ Formulate strategic account plans that incorporate multi-year growth strategies, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and success metrics.
β’ Navigate intricate purchasing processes, including RFPs, board approvals, and budgetary cycles.
β’ Manage opportunities, pipeline, and forecasting through Salesforce, Domo, and other necessary tools.
β’ Engage in cross-functional territory teams to synchronize outreach efforts, share insights, and ensure a cohesive client experience.
β’ Collaborate with coaching, implementation, and retention teams during deal transitions, renewals, and expansions.
β’ Align with the Managing Director and sales leaders on territory strategies and complex deals.
β’ Ensure the accuracy of records in Salesforce and other essential systems.
β’ Utilize coaching and feedback to enhance sales performance.
β’ Identify performance gaps, experiment with different approaches, and refine strategies accordingly.
β’ Share effective practices with the team and broader pod.
β’ Travel as necessary to engage with clients, attend industry conferences, and participate in internal meetings.
β’ A bachelor's degree or higher.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership roles.
β’ Strong preference for experience selling to Kβ12 districts.
β’ Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual quota or equivalent performance metrics.
β’ Proven ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling techniques.
β’ History of winning and expanding business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly evolving environments.
β’ Capability to lead strategic discussions with senior district and school leaders.
β’ Skill in diagnosing performance challenges within a territory and executing effective solutions.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of persuasive interaction in various formats.
β’ Proficient in Salesforce, Domo, and other required tools.
β’ Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage in internal meetings.
