This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of and meet a personal revenue target, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual goals.
β’ Develop and implement a territory strategy that highlights key districts and schools, aligns with relevant education funding policies, and balances immediate opportunities with long-term account growth.
β’ Maintain a robust pipeline and proactively manage revenue risks, expedite critical deals, and nurture existing relationships.
β’ Guide the complete sales cycle with district and school stakeholders, including superintendents, district leaders, and principals.
β’ Conduct thorough discovery to grasp each client's priorities and challenges, translating those needs into customized FranklinCovey solutions.
β’ Create strategic account plans for essential districts that include multi-year expansion strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and defined success metrics.
β’ Navigate intricate purchasing processes, encompassing RFPs, board approvals, and budget timelines.
β’ Serve as a responsible custodian of FranklinCovey's brand and resources, balancing client demands with prudent business practices.
β’ Leverage Salesforce, Domo, and other necessary tools to manage the pipeline, monitor opportunities, and ensure accurate forecasting.
β’ Regularly assess pipeline health to confirm opportunity quality, resolve stalled deals, and guarantee adequate early-stage activity to meet forthcoming targets.
β’ Engage in territory pods (internal cross-functional teams supporting shared accounts/regions) to synchronize outreach, exchange insights, and provide a consistent client experience.
β’ Collaborate with coaches, implementation, and retention teams to facilitate deal transitions and identify renewal and expansion opportunities.
β’ Align with the Managing Director and sales leaders on territory strategy, complex deals, and insights that enhance broader sales initiatives.
β’ Consistently follow through on commitments made to clients and internal stakeholders.
β’ Arrive at meetings prepared with clear agendas and desired outcomes.
β’ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and all required systems.
β’ Continuously enhance core sales skills and apply coaching and feedback to refine execution.
β’ Demonstrate adaptability and results by effectively operating amidst changing market conditions, evolving district requirements, and shifts in internal strategy.
β’ Independently identify performance gaps, test new approaches, and adjust strategies to enhance results.
β’ Actively participate in ongoing training and self-development, sharing effective practices with the pod and broader team.
β’ Travel as necessary to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in internal meetings.
β’ Bachelor's degree or higher.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership.
β’ Strong background in selling to K12 districts.
β’ Proven history of consistently achieving or surpassing a multi-million-dollar annual quota or equivalent performance benchmarks.
β’ Demonstrated ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling.
β’ Experience in winning and expanding business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly evolving environments.
β’ Proven capability to lead strategic discussions with senior district and school leaders.
β’ Ability to identify performance challenges within a territory and implement effective solutions.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of persuasive interaction in writing, virtually, and in person.
