This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Efficiently manage assigned client accounts under the guidance of the Director of Client Operations and with general instructions from facility contacts.
• Address daily inquiries from clients and Release of Information Specialists.
• Achieve facility revenue targets and identify opportunities for productivity enhancements.
• Conduct release-of-information tasks in accordance with service agreements.
• Create weekly dashboards and month-end operational performance reports.
• Oversee productivity and quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Aid in the training and evaluation of both onsite and remote ROIS staff.
• Support employee recruitment processes, including interviewing, hiring, and termination.
• Engage in counseling sessions and provide recommendations for disciplinary actions or terminations.
• Manage onsite staff scheduling, time-off requests, and payroll approvals.
• Collaborate with remote supervisors in coordinating work and distributing workflow.
• Maintain the confidentiality of facility information.
• Contribute to the review and revision of site procedures.
• Conduct quality reviews and site evaluations.
• Assess release-of-information requests for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Identify medical record numbers, retrieve records, review requested encounters, scan or electronically capture records, and prepare requested pages.
• Reassemble paper charts for refiling and log/document released information.
• Calculate billing and generate invoices as required.
• Certify medical record copies when appropriate.
• Ensure availability of supplies at designated facilities.
• Submit company-related travel expense reports and receipts.
• Adhere to Company Policies and undertake other assigned tasks.
• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Some college education is preferred.
• RHIT Certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving history are required.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, staff members, and management are essential.
• Experience in medical records or healthcare is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards is mandatory.
• Coursework in medical terminology is preferred.
• RHIT certification or the ability to take and pass an ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher within 90 days is required.
• Willingness to travel is necessary.
