Client Onboarding & Service Manager – Accounting & Tax, US Clients, Extended Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate onboarding virtual meetings with new clients.

• Outline the scope of services, timelines, and responsibilities of clients.

• Assist clients with document submission processes and software tools.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless onboarding transitions.

• Act as the main point of contact for designated clients.

• Address client emails and inquiries within established SLAs.

• Follow up on outstanding documents and essential information.

• Refer complex accounting or tax matters to internal CPAs and team leads.

• Liaise between clients, the production team in India, and US-based CPAs.

• Organize and manage client documentation for tax and accounting purposes.

• Engage with clients through virtual meetings and phone conversations.

• Clarify services, financial reports, and subsequent steps.

• Note that this role does not include bookkeeping, accounting reviews, or financial quality control.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree is mandatory.

• An MBA in Finance or a related field is an advantage.

• 2–5 years of experience in direct client-facing roles.

• Experience with US clients is highly desirable.

• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

• Capability to present financial information effectively.

• An American or neutral accent is preferred.

• High levels of empathy, active listening, responsive follow-up, a customer-centric mindset, and strong coordination abilities.

• Fundamental knowledge of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and basic tax principles.

• Strong sense of accountability and commitment to US night shift hours.

• Required availability from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST.

• Must be able to work from India.
