This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
β’ Deliver outstanding support and customer service to a designated caseload of employer groups with 100 to 499 lives by offering daily guidance and education on benefit products.
β’ Act as the primary contact for Client Management concerns within the assigned portfolio.
β’ Oversee new case submissions, renewal activities, and amendments.
β’ Identify opportunities to sell additional lines of coverage or enhance existing plans.
β’ Engage in in-person meetings with clients and brokers.
β’ Advocate for new product offerings and improved product features.
β’ Suggest plan modifications as necessary.
β’ Manage enrollment and re-enrollment processes, which may include leading enrollment meetings or participating in benefit fairs as required.
β’ Emphasize the benefits of partnering with The Standard in collaboration with the designated Sales Representative.
β’ Work together with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
β’ High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ 3-5 years of relevant experience in employee benefits, client management, or sales support within the employee benefits insurance sector.
β’ Professional certification is required: Life and Disability insurance license for the resident state within the assigned hub. The license must be acquired within 6 months of the hire date and maintained by fulfilling all continuing education, payment, and other state DOI requirements.
β’ Must reside in the Midwest (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) region.
β’ Travel is necessary based on the role, assigned caseload, and territorial obligations.
β’ Strong negotiation skills are essential.
β’ Ability to make independent decisions.
β’ Proven history of establishing and preserving long-term relationships.
β’ A criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing are required as a condition of employment.
β’ Must be bondable.
