This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
β’ Deliver outstanding support and customer service to designated employer-group caseloads ranging from 100 to 499 lives.
β’ Offer daily advice and education on LOA, FMLA, STD, LTD, Life, voluntary, and state-specific statutory products.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for Client Management matters for the assigned portfolio.
β’ Oversee new case submissions, renewal activities, and amendments.
β’ Recognize and advocate for additional lines of coverage and enhancements to plans.
β’ Engage in face-to-face meetings with clients and brokers.
β’ Introduce new product offerings and upgraded product features.
β’ Suggest plan modifications when appropriate.
β’ Manage enrollment and re-enrollment processes, including hosting enrollment meetings and benefit fairs as necessary.
β’ Emphasize the benefits of partnering with The Standard in collaboration with the assigned Sales Representative.
β’ Foster relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
β’ High School Diploma.
β’ Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ 3-5 years of progressive experience in employee benefits, client management, or sales support within the employee benefits insurance sector.
β’ Professional certification is necessary: Life and Disability insurance license for the resident state within the assigned hub.
β’ License must be acquired within 6 months of the hire date and maintained by fulfilling all continuing education, payment, and other state DOI obligations.
β’ Travel is required based on the role, assigned caseload, and territorial requirements.
β’ Must reside in the Midwest (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) region.
β’ Criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing are required as a condition of employment.
β’ Must be bondable.
