This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated client accounts, assisting the Client Executive and the wider account team.
• Develop strong working relationships with HR departments, benefits administrators, consultants, and other client representatives.
• Address client inquiries, direct questions to internal teams, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Keep precise account records, client communications, and action items updated in Salesforce and other internal systems.
• Facilitate client meetings by organizing agendas, tracking action items, and coordinating follow-up tasks.
• Aid in eligibility updates, benefit modifications, plan configuration requests, and routine account upkeep.
• Collaborate with Operations, Eligibility, Billing, Clinical, and IT teams regarding client requests.
• Assist in implementations, renewals, and benefit modifications by monitoring timelines and deliverables.
• Confirm information accuracy and escalate discrepancies or issues as needed.
• Track account performance metrics, pharmacy spending, and utilization trends; provide insights and optimization suggestions.
• Prepare and contribute to quarterly business plans, financial performance summaries, and client-facing reporting packages.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency; escalate upsell or growth prospects.
• Manage and resolve client issues, providing updates throughout the resolution process.
• Elevate complex or high-impact matters to the Director of Client Management or Client Executive.
• Engage in regular account team meetings.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client requests, decisions, and completed tasks.
• Seek opportunities to enhance processes, client experience, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
• 0-1 year of experience in account management, client success, or client-facing operations within a PBM, health plan, TPA, or managed-care environment.
• Healthcare experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit operations, including claims processing, formulary management, eligibility, network configurations, and benefit plan design.
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to convey complex pharmacy benefit information into clear, actionable advice for non-technical audiences.
• Capability to handle multiple accounts and competing priorities with attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Proficient with CRM systems and standard business tools, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Experience in a transparent, pass-through, or PBM-optimizer organization.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar healthcare CRM platforms.
• Experience in supporting quarterly business reviews and client-facing financial reporting.
• Prior experience in a pod or team-based account model.
