This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire and maintain relationships with large, complex commercial clients by leveraging expertise in risk management, risk mitigation, and insurance architecture.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with insurance company representatives and broker partners.
• Facilitate internal client renewal discussions that encompass coverage analysis, pricing evaluations, historical loss trends, and future loss projections.
• Prepare complex submissions for the marketplace, which include loss projections, deductible stratification, endorsement requests, and exposure data.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Risk Mitigation, Claims Consulting, and Risk Analysts teams to surpass client service expectations and deliverables.
• Evaluate final audits to ensure accuracy between clients and the audit teams of insurance company partners.
• Foster trusting relationships with clients, insurance partners, brokers, advisors, stakeholders, and leaders.
• Share insurance knowledge with advisors, account managers, and colleagues to provide guidance, development, and training.
• Possess and maintain necessary state insurance license(s), or be willing and able to acquire them within the first 90 days of employment.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in commercial insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of analyzing intricate risk exposures and existing insurance coverages, and formulating recommendations through risk mapping.
• Extensive technical knowledge of insurance coverage, contracts, market conditions, and carrier underwriting appetites.
• Experience in reviewing, placing, and negotiating loss-sensitive casualty and workers' compensation placements, including captive structures, is preferred.
• Industry specialization in areas such as Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Wholesale Trade, Transportation, Retail Trade, Real Estate, or Services is preferred.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills based on objective analysis and various perspectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Familiarity with Sagitta is preferred.
• Possession of CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM designations is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with occasional travel.
