Client Development Director

📋 Description

• Serve as the internal representative of the customer by collaborating with Ticketmaster business leaders to enhance client experiences and outcomes.

• Lead and partner on an account management framework aimed at maximizing revenue and renewals.

• Formulate and execute upselling strategies for current clients; monitor, track, and refine plans as necessary.

• Create, communicate, and implement best practices within designated market segments.

• Predict clients’ ticket and revenue contributions through detailed client-level business plans, account strategies, profitability analyses, and program forecasts.

• Provide ad hoc support for sales operations.

• Oversee support-team service levels to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Mentor and collaborate with client support, marketing, and account management teams.

• Retain assigned clients while maximizing profit margins through renewal engagement.

• Work cross-functionally to enhance client satisfaction scores.

• Identify new business prospects and drive client acquisition in alignment with annual sales objectives.

• Conduct strategic account evaluations and identify products and pricing tailored to client needs.

• Build relationships with key system and product users and offer product feedback.

• Discover opportunities for new products and enhancements.

• Address client issues and ensure prompt resolution.

• Provide market analysis, competitor evaluations, and market intelligence insights.

• Keep precise contact and account details updated in Salesforce.

• Observe competitors and potential partners to pinpoint opportunities and threats.

• Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

• Maintain account retention by fostering relationships with key decision-makers and users.

• Promote TM1 Marketing product adoption while managing local variations.

• Travel required: 35%-50%.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in the live entertainment sector, with a strong emphasis on account management and development.

• BA/BS or a college diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with or in lieu of equivalent work experience.

• Preferred experience with live event ticketing or real-time inventory management systems.

• Exceptional presentation and project management abilities.

• Demonstrated history of surpassing sales targets.

• Experience in leading change within a complex, matrix-oriented organization, with a strong focus on team development.

• Advanced knowledge of digital media and industry trends.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience in the live entertainment industry, particularly with a major league sports team and significant market venue, is highly desirable.

• AI skills and knowledge are highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of technology-driven products, software platforms, APIs, integrations, and data-focused solutions for intricate consultative sales processes.

• Experience in crafting and delivering client presentations.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and consulting skills.

• Travel required: 35%-50%.
