This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct research to identify potential clients that align with Menemsha’s target markets, project sizes, and geographical reach.
• Locate companies that are planning new construction, renovations, expansions, remodel programs, and multi-location rollouts.
• Establish relationships with executives and leaders in construction, development, real estate, facilities, procurement, and design sectors.
• Generate qualified meetings and introductions for the Business Development team.
• Perform outbound outreach through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, industry associations, and networking events.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Menemsha’s construction, architecture, survey, preconstruction, and design-build capabilities.
• Communicate Menemsha’s value proposition and relevant project experience effectively.
• Investigate target organizations, including their structures, relationships, construction programs, and upcoming opportunities.
• Develop multiple points of contact within target accounts.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up throughout extended sales cycles.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Preconstruction, and Operations on account-specific outreach strategies.
• Keep accurate records of prospects, activities, meetings, and opportunities in HubSpot.
• Monitor outreach activities, meeting conversion rates, qualified opportunities, and strategic-account progress.
• Participate in selected conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Design, initiate, and manage targeted prospecting campaigns in HubSpot, including contact lists, audience segmentation, outreach sequences, prospect enrollment, engagement monitoring, automation, performance tracking, and optimization.
• A minimum of five years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or strategic account prospecting.
• Experience in the commercial construction, architecture, engineering, real estate development, facilities, or a related industry is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of the commercial construction process and the selection of architects, general contractors, and design-build partners by owners.
• Proven track record of engaging with senior-level decision-makers and scheduling qualified business meetings.
• Strong research skills with the ability to discover projects, organizational relationships, and decision-making structures.
• Comfort with cold calling and a persistent, professional follow-up approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and convey technical capabilities without overstating qualifications or making unsupported commitments.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, construction databases, and other prospecting tools is preferred.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, accountable, and driven by measurable results.
• Demonstrated proficiency in HubSpot, including contact and company management, list building, segmentation, email campaigns, sales sequences, task automation, reporting, and campaign-performance tracking.
