Client Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Manage and swiftly address inquiries from clients and representatives concerning questions, report statuses, concerns, or information requests.

• Utilize systems and databases to input or retrieve information pertaining to clients or claimants.

• Maintain regular communication with the QA department regarding workflow and the status of pending reports.

• Reach out to providers for assignments and update the database accordingly.

• Organize and archive both open and closed cases.

• Verify client information while documenting client-specific guidelines and regulations in the system.

• Collaborate independently and with team members to resolve queries, document cases, and ensure timely case returns.

• Direct calls to other departments as necessary.

• Perform clerical tasks including typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading.

• Assist with customer complaints and quality assurance concerns.

• Inform management of any issues or concerns regarding reports.

• Ensure that practices align with state and federal safety and legal regulations.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least one year of clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• Prior experience in a medical office or the insurance sector is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of general computer operations, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and telephones.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.

• Capability to be trained on and comply with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.

• Competent typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 W.P.M.

• Ability to follow instructions and accurately respond to management directives.

• Attention to detail, thoroughness, accountability for work quality, and initiative to identify areas for improvement.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure or in stressful situations.

• Ability to manage changes, delays, or unforeseen events appropriately.
