Class A CDL Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual classroom instruction to students, focusing on CDL knowledge, permit preparation, and driving theory.

• Offer detailed guidance on CDL topics, including safety regulations and requirements set by FMCSA.

• Ensure students are well-prepared for CDL permit testing standards.

• Foster a culture of safety and professionalism throughout all instruction.

• Monitor student attendance and engagement, offering assistance when necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including records of attendance and student progress.

• Facilitate clear communication and support to aid students in comprehending course material.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must either reside in the state they are applying for or have secured housing for relocation.

• Possession of a valid CDL Class A license with at least 24 months of confirmed tractor-trailer driving experience.

• A safe driving record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to effectively manage a virtual classroom.

• Ability to stay organized and handle multiple students in an online setting.
