This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Operate various Class 3 units safely at the Imperial Oil site (Kearl).
• Manage Combo Vac units efficiently.
• Execute tasks as directed by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily documentation, which includes logbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessments, and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the assigned vehicle.
• Participate in scheduled daily toolbox and safety meetings.
• Comply with corporate and site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate BME tools and equipment to established standards.
• Ensure all training is kept up to date.
• Adhere to TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.
• Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Deliver services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience as a Class 3 Operator.
• Must possess knowledge of TDG.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with manual transmission.
• Previous experience with Combo Vac is required.
• Hold a valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of experience with up to 18-speed manual Class 1 or 3 equipment.
• Experience driving in a mining environment is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification is mandatory.
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is required.
• Certification in Daily Trip Inspections is necessary.
• Certification in Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta is required.
• Certification in Weights and Dimensions is essential.
• Certification in Cargo Securement for flatbeds is needed.
• WHMIS certification is a must.
• H2S Alive certification is required.
• Must successfully complete BME driver’s evaluation.
• Must successfully pass Drug and Alcohol pre-employment screening.
• Must successfully complete fit-for-duty pre-employment screening.
• Should be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Mechanically inclined individuals are preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• 14 days on and 14 days off, including day and night shifts.
