Claims Triage Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the after-hours claims hotline.

• Assess new claims in line with national and regional standards.

• Achieve or surpass client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Assist national and regional operations by ensuring that after-hours claims are evaluated according to established standards.

• Foster and develop relationships within Emergency Claims Services.

• Meet or exceed response timelines.

• Handle calls during the night shift while working remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education related to the insurance field.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Background in property claims (such as Wind, Water, Fire, etc.) is advantageous.

• A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify cause and effect relationships.

• Effective investigative abilities.

• Adjuster's license or currently pursuing a CIP designation is mandatory.

• Dependability and readiness to take calls as they come in.

• Capability to work from home.

• A quiet work setting to manage and evaluate calls throughout an 8-hour shift.
