Claims Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and develop guidelines for the claims settlement process.

• Act as a technical authority and offer discipline-specific assistance for medium-complexity claims settlements.

• Contribute to the enhancement of technical skills.

• Offer technical support for the enforcement of contracts.

• Assist claims advisors in improving their technical competencies.

• Analyze and authorize claims settlements.

• Perform research and act as a resource person.

• Suggest resolutions to conflicts and situations beyond the claims advisor’s authority.

• Review independent adjuster claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma from a trade school in a relevant field.

• At least three years of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may also be evaluated.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel are required.

• Must be available to travel across the Greater Gaspésie region.
