Claims Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and set standards for the claims settlement process.

• Act as a technical specialist and offer discipline-specific assistance for medium-complexity claims resolution.

• Assist in the enhancement of technical skills.

• Utilize decision-making abilities to address technically intricate issues.

• Develop action plans based on claims evaluations.

• Offer technical assistance for contract enforcement.

• Aid claims advisors in advancing their technical expertise.

• Analyze and sanction claims settlements.

• Perform research and function as a resource person.

• Suggest resolutions to conflicts and situations beyond the claims advisors' authority.

• Revise claims handled by independent adjusters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma from a trade school in a relevant field.

• At least three years of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for travel.

• Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Gaspésie region.
