Claims Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directly oversee a team of approximately 12–15 associates

• Understand and adhere to client-defined guidelines

• Track and manage the productivity targets of subordinate staff, ensuring financial and procedural accuracy

• Collaborate on special projects assigned by management, such as process documentation, training, quality audits, and support during peak activity

• Maintain open communication with management to resolve issues, address concerns, and implement preventive measures that ensure processing accuracy and quality

• Organize and delegate projects related to provider data, authorizations, enrollment, or other pertinent information

• Provide a high-quality claims operation, meeting or surpassing service level agreements and KPIs

• Promote operational excellence and develop competencies for effective delivery

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare claims processing

• Strong understanding and capability to effectively lead a claims team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel is preferred

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding is advantageous

• Knowledge of physician billing and hospital coding (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT-4)

• Understanding of medical terminology and authorization requirements

• Openness to acquiring new skills
