
Claims Supervisor – Product Liability, Mass Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee, mentor, coach, and develop a team of 5–8 adjusters who are managing product liability claims.
• Evaluate claim quality, productivity, customer service, timeliness, and overall operational performance.
• Provide expert guidance on liability investigations, assessment of damages, settlement strategies, and resolution of claims.
• Perform file reviews and conduct performance audits to ensure compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support adjusters with escalated claim matters, intricate investigations, negotiations, and settlement decisions.
• Track inventory levels and delegate workloads to uphold service level commitments.
• Analyze trends in claims, operational challenges, and opportunities for process enhancements.
• Create and sustain workflows, reporting mechanisms, and best practices that promote claim quality and efficiency.
• Relay operational performance metrics and claim outcomes to leadership.
• Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to guarantee effective program implementation.
• Encourage accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
• Build a stable, engaged, and high-performing claims team.
• Achieve productivity, quality, and service expectations.
• Manage a high-volume inventory environment.
• Establish effective workflows and operational processes.
• Cultivate relationships with adjusters, leadership, and clients.
• Act as a trusted technical and operational resource for the account.
• At least 5 years of experience in casualty, liability, product liability, or mass tort claims.
• Prior experience in supervisory roles, leadership, coaching, or claims management.
• Experience overseeing claims professionals in a high-volume setting.
• Proven success in managing fast-track claim programs, surge events, catastrophe-style operations, or extensive claim inventories.
• Strong understanding of liability investigations.
• Solid knowledge of claim evaluations.
• In-depth understanding of damages assessment.
• Extensive knowledge of negotiation strategies.
• Proficient in claim resolution practices.
• Demonstrated ability to balance quality, compliance, service, and productivity objectives.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Active Adjuster License or Designated Home State (DHS) License is required.
• Ability to acquire and maintain additional jurisdictional licenses as necessary.
• Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred experience handling product liability claims.
• Preferred experience supervising mass tort, consumer product, recall, foodborne illness, or other large-scale liability programs.
• Preferred experience leading teams during event-driven or outbreak-related claim inventories.
• Preferred multi-state claims handling experience.
• Preferred prior experience with Third-Party Administrators (TPA).
• Preferred professional designations, such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA, or ARM.
