Claims Specialist – Motor Vehicle Accident

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Daily setup and processing of new accounts

• Utilize company systems and technologies to input content information and confirm received data

• Engage with patients, attorneys, and insurance providers

• Build and sustain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

• Execute quality work with integrity and ethical decision-making

• Address challenges in a fast-paced environment

• Manage complex, high-volume tasks within a team setting

• Uphold accountability, confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and professionalism when managing medical and financial data

• Assist healthcare providers by enhancing revenue through the coordination of motor vehicle accident claim accounts

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• Minimum of one (1) year experience working fully remotely in an administrative capacity

• At least one (1) year experience in processing insurance claims

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Strong computer proficiency

• Capability to multi-task and prioritize work in a high-production environment

• Punctuality and a robust work ethic

• Previous experience in medical billing, patient access, or healthcare front office is preferred

• Must comply with HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, and other relevant laws and policies

• Remote employees based in the US are not allowed to work from outside the United States without prior written consent
