This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Conduct comprehensive investigations, evaluations, and processing of insurance claims.
β’ Assess policy coverage for reported losses and determine suitable compensation amounts.
β’ Collaborate with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to review and evaluate petsβ medical histories.
β’ Establish a baseline for health assessments.
β’ Analyze policies to make eligibility assessments.
β’ Generate and communicate claims decisions to policyholders.
β’ Request medical records from providers as necessary.
β’ Engage with clients and providers throughout the treatment process when required.
β’ Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in the veterinary field for licensed technicians or 5 years for unlicensed assistants.
β’ Must reside in Canada.
β’ High school diploma, secondary school diploma, or GED is mandatory.
β’ An Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience equates to one year of college).
β’ Veterinary technician licensure is highly preferred.
