This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate General Liability and Bodily Injury claims on behalf of clients to ascertain benefits owed.
• Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims meets service expectations, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Manage claims through action plans aimed at achieving appropriate and timely resolutions.
• Investigate claims and collect information to assess claim exposure.
• Negotiate claim settlements within the defined authority limits.
• Maintain communication regarding claim activities and processing with both claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers as necessary.
• Respond promptly and professionally to requests for guidance.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Relevant professional certification related to the line of business is advantageous.
• 5 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
• A home state license is necessary.
• Familiarity with the jurisdictional regulations of all states is essential.
• Proficiency in analyzing General Liability and Bodily Injury claims.
• Capability to investigate claims and gather necessary information to evaluate exposure.
• Skill in negotiating settlements within authorized limits.
• Strong ability to communicate claim activities and processing effectively with claimants and clients.
• Proficient in reporting claims to excess carriers and addressing requests for guidance.
• Ability to think clearly and conceptually.
• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.
• Capacity to manage work-related stress and multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to meet established deadlines.
• Proficient in computer keyboarding, with capabilities in hearing, vision, and verbal communication.
