This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee various teams of adjusters across multiple lines of business.
• Consistently achieve or surpass objectives while overcoming challenges.
• Establish and uphold best practices for claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
• Analyze and monitor claims data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure the team's alignment with client and customer expectations regarding the claims process.
• Act as a resource for complex or escalated claims.
• Guarantee the precision and sufficiency of all aspects related to claim reserving.
• Create and implement strategies aimed at reducing fraudulent claims while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere, encourage teamwork, and support professional growth and development.
• Manage performance; attract, hire, retain, and provide top-tier training.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Compliance, and Claim Operations on intricate or escalated claims matters.
• Maintain relationships with policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives.
• Prepare and deliver claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients and customers.
• Provide clients with insights on claim trends and strategies for loss mitigation.
• Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state during their employment.
• Hiring is not available for candidates living in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.
• A Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or a related field is required.
• Relevant certifications such as CPCU or AIC are advantageous.
• At least 10 years of experience in insurance claims management across multiple lines of business, preferably in auto with bodily injury experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience, ideally in a remote setting.
• Proficient with technology and capable of evolving claims systems and processes to enhance efficiencies and outcomes.
• Proven dedication to quality, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong integrity, ethical standards, and accountability in managing confidential and sensitive information.
• Foundational knowledge of claims.
• Extensive technical and subject matter expertise in commercial transportation claims, including coverage and litigation.
• Experience in reviewing and analyzing contracts.
• Comfortable engaging in phone communications throughout the claims process.
