This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the complete claims process for designated commercial accounts, including intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, and discussions on reserves and resolutions.
• Conduct claims kickoff meetings for new clients and monthly claims reviews for ongoing clients.
• Develop standard operating procedures, reporting workflows, and materials for employees.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding incidents such as slip-and-fall claims and product recalls.
• Advocate for timely resolutions with carriers, third-party administrators, and defense counsel.
• Provide insights from claims analysis to support new business initiatives through loss evaluations, claim histories, and renewal strategies in collaboration with the growth team.
• Report directly to the Head of Claims.
• Ensure smooth account transitions, complete kickoff calls, and established claims SOPs, while providing reliable client support within the initial 90 days.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing commercial insurance claims, preferably within a brokerage or carrier environment.
• Comprehensive end-to-end claims management proficiency: intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, reserves, and resolutions.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and identify when to escalate issues.
• Excellent skills in building client relationships and establishing trust.
• Experience in facilitating client-facing meetings such as kickoffs and claims reviews.
• Capable of creating SOPs, reporting workflows, and training materials from the ground up.
• Comfortable being the primary contact during high-pressure or urgent claims situations.
• Tenacious in driving carriers, TPAs, and defense counsel towards timely resolutions.
• Proficient in converting claims data into actionable insights for renewal strategies and new business development.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
