Claims & Finance Officer – Aged Care, NDIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Enter and upload invoices submitted by affiliated providers and external vendors in accordance with approved participant support plans and agreed unit pricing.

• Conduct claims verification to ensure all information is accurate and processed promptly.

• Identify billing discrepancies, duplicate claims, or expenditures outside of scope, and escalate these issues to local Managers.

• Compile monthly and bi-weekly claims data, verifying unit quantities, Service IDs, and funding sources.

• Oversee data entry for invoice claims and correctly code eligible claims to the appropriate Service ID.

• Monitor the status of invoice processing and generate data export reports.

• Handle follow-ups on rejections originating from primary Australian processing workflows.

• Maintain digital audit trails and upload invoice copies to client files in Visualcare.

• Comply with Australian Privacy Principles / Privacy Act 1988 while managing sensitive participant and financial information.

• Assist internal and external compliance audits by providing financial records and remittance histories.

• Attain a minimum of 98% accuracy on first-pass claims.

• Meet daily and weekly processing targets for the queue.

• Identify and document mismatched third-party invoices within 48 business hours.

• Ensure no critical data or regulatory breaches occur concerning unverified third-party expenses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable, claims processing, or financial administration, ideally within the healthcare, insurance, or Australian aged care / NDIS sectors.

• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume data entry.

• Proficient in contemporary financial software, client management systems, and MS Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse cultures for effective liaison with onshore Managers.

• Familiarity with Australian Aged Care or NDIS frameworks is a plus.

• A working understanding of privacy and data-handling obligations pertinent to Australian participant data.
