Claims Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate cyber claims, deliver exceptional customer service, and assist clients, brokers, insured parties, and claimants.

• Conduct coverage assessments and correspondence, investigations, incident responses, evaluations, reserve adequacy and timeliness checks, diary maintenance, management counseling, reinsurance reporting, and claim resolutions.

• Actively oversee claims and litigation processes.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, brokers, and various internal departments.

• Create both written and oral presentations for claims, secure necessary approvals, and devise action plans for complex claims.

• Promote claim services and organize as well as engage in client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in claims management.

• At least 1 year of experience in the cyber domain is required.

• Juris Doctor (JD) is a prerequisite.

• Must acquire and maintain requisite adjuster licenses.

• Proficient skills in coverage analysis, claim evaluation, and negotiation.

• Outstanding organizational and presentation capabilities.

• Experience in a collaborative team setting and across different work groups.

• Professional Liability experience is advantageous.

• Must complete all evaluations and interviews without utilizing generative AI support.
