Claims Care Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Handle approximately 50–60 customer inquiries daily concerning group insurance claims, such as dental, life, disability, and FMLA.

• Provide members with claim information and verification of their benefits.

• Inform customers and employers about FMLA and disability products while advising them on subsequent steps.

• Diligently document claims and leaves using various applications and platforms.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders via email and phone communication.

• Identify, suggest, and advocate for process enhancements and organizational initiatives.

• Participate in six weeks of paid training from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 12 Mbps; preferred bandwidth is 25 Mbps.

• Availability to work an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST.

• Experience in data entry and research within a fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Ability to navigate through multiple systems as required is preferred.
