Claims Associate, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and ascertain benefits owed as per credit card or other financial program benefits plans.

• Ensure prompt payments and modifications for designated program claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service.

• Process first-party property claims based on the fundamental coverage specified by client-specific programs.

• Make coverage decisions based on thorough investigation and assessment.

• Resolve appropriate settlements or denials within the assigned authority level.

• Manage a high volume of claims, phone inquiries, and correspondence.

• Accurately document claim files.

• Achieve quality and production targets, customer standards, and deadlines.

• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of one (1) year of general office experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience in the claims industry is preferred.

• Necessary licenses or the willingness and capability to pursue the required licensing.

• Proficiency in professional Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Understanding of first-party property and casualty claim adjudication relevant to the line of business.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess analytical and interpretive abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Ability to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• Successful credit security clearance confirmed through a background credit check is required.
