Claims Associate, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and ascertain benefits entitled under credit card or other financial program benefits plans

• Ensure timely disbursement of payments and modifications for designated program claims

• Deliver exceptional customer service

• Manage first-party property claims according to the basic coverage outlined by the specific client program

• Make coverage decisions based on thorough investigation and evaluation

• Adjudicate appropriate settlements or denials within the designated authority level

• Handle a substantial volume of claims, phone inquiries, and correspondence

• Accurately document claim files

• Achieve quality and production targets, adhere to customer guidelines, and meet deadlines

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

• Support the organization's quality initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory

• Necessary licenses or a willingness and capability to obtain the relevant licensing as required

• Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required

• Experience in the claims industry is preferred

• Understanding of first-party property and casualty claim adjudication relevant to the line of business

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities

• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications

• Possess analytical and interpretive skills

• Strong organizational abilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented setting

• Ability to meet or surpass Performance Competencies

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking professional Spanish

• A credit security clearance, verified through a background credit check, is a requirement
