This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver top-tier technical claim management across the company for Property, Collapse, Earth Movement, and building and structure loss claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, and negotiations of intricate property claims.
• Act as the technical supervisor for the team in the absence of the manager.
• Assist with audits conducted at the regional level.
• Provide mentorship to junior Claim Representatives.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Claim Manager or Director.
• Carry out inspections of sites and properties, including roofs, basements, and attics.
• A college degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of seven (7) years in claims management, with at least three years focused on complex claim files.
• Familiarity with current claims legislation, particularly civil and tort law.
• Awareness of contemporary trends in Property insurance case law and associated issues.
• Proficient understanding of mathematical principles and standard accounting practices related to gross and net income or living-expense calculations.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
• Capability to articulate complex legal concepts and policy contract interpretations both in writing and verbally.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage workload effectively under critical deadlines.
• Competence in performing inspections of sites and properties, including roofs, basements, and attics, utilizing ladders or stairs, and performing kneeling, crawling, and bending as necessary.
• Must hold a valid California Driver License and be able to operate a vehicle.
• Residency in the Central Valley (Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield area) is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is necessary.
