This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while acting as the senior technical lead.
• Oversee engineering professionals, including staff engineers, technicians, and CAD specialists.
• Assess personnel requirements, allocate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate daily operations of the technical staff and provide necessary technical support.
• Supervise the creation of project documentation, including outlines, layouts, technical reports, data analysis, and visual presentations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop plans, reports, and evaluations.
• Independently assess, choose, adapt, and modify standard techniques, processes, and criteria.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure tasks are completed within designated periods.
• Serve as the client liaison, distributing work assignments and proposals.
• Inform leadership about potential scheduling and budget challenges.
• Oversee project initiation paperwork, including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and schedules.
• Manage project financial activities, including invoicing, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring contract compliance.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to Company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and stay abreast of industry developments.
• Prepare permit documentation, construction plans, and specifications for Solid Waste Management Facilities.
• Develop Part B Permit Application Documents for Industrial Facilities.
• Create permit documents and plans for Voluntary, RCRA, and CERCLA remediation actions.
• Direct quality assurance activities related to construction projects.
• Prepare SWPPPs, SPCC Plans, and ARAP Applications.
• Generate construction cost estimates and financial assurance estimates.
• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Advanced understanding of engineering principles.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design software (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, etc.).
• Capability to obtain and maintain HAZWOPER certification, including the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety training and annual 8-hour refresher course.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong organizational and management capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and mentor colleagues.
• Competence in delegating tasks and communicating within a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with staff and leadership.
