This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Act as the Technical Lead for the Civil Engineering team.
• Deliver practical engineering design and supervision, encompassing Stormwater management and hydrology/hydraulic (H&H) analysis, Drainage design and grading plans, Erosion and sediment control systems, Water distribution and wastewater collection systems, and Roadway and access design.
• Conduct and/or oversee technical evaluations to ensure adherence to State DOT standards as well as County and municipal regulations.
• Seal engineering documents as necessary and uphold responsible charge.
• Manage the project scope, timeline, budget, and staffing resources, and oversee all client interactions to ensure that expectations, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved.
• Facilitate project activities among internal teams, subconsultants, vendors, and agencies, while providing financial oversight including budgets, scope alterations, invoicing, revenue, and accruals.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in site design.
• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional projects (municipal, county, state).
• Previous experience as Engineer of Record.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
