Civil Project Engineer II/III – Renewable Energy Structural Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create designs for steel piles and steel connections suitable for a range of structural applications.

• Develop designs for cast-in-place concrete slabs.

• Utilize expertise in renewable energy systems and terminology in structural design.

• Assist in formulating project scopes, timelines, and budgets.

• Provide support for project and task management initiatives.

• Participate in marketing efforts and the development of proposals.

• Engage in projects focused on renewable energy and structural design.

• Collaborate within an innovative engineering environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Over 2 years of experience in designing solar structures.

• Possession of a PE License is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in structural design software, particularly LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.

• Experience with AutoCAD for the development of plans.

• Familiarity with the interoperability of Excel and AutoCAD for creating pile plot plans is a plus.
