This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support the Project Manager in managing ongoing changes, addressing issues, and fulfilling project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the maintenance of overall and three-week project schedules on a weekly basis.

• Verify IFC plans, quantities, and assumptions, and facilitate contract true-ups based on IFC drawings and actual field conditions.

• Prepare, monitor, and reconcile change orders alongside contract true-ups.

• Gather, prepare, submit, monitor, and secure prompt approval of submittals.

• Prepare and submit RFIs in collaboration with the Project Manager and ensure their timely resolution.

• Assist in the sourcing and procurement of materials.

• Support One-Call updates and coordinate dig permits.

• Oversee GPS topographic surveys, including pre-construction, progress, and as-built surveys.

• Compare GPS models with actual data to compute and validate quantities.

• Organize survey data into actionable project tracking and verification information.

• Conduct UAV operations as necessary.

• Aid in layout, surveying, and material quantity take-offs.

• Maintain project documentation, including quantity trackers, submittal logs, and RFI logs.

• Assist in organizing progress meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.

• Serve as a liaison between office and field teams, coordinating technical information, documentation, schedules, and communications.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in civil construction (internship experience may be taken into account).

• Strong comprehension of civil construction methods, materials, and standards.

• Proficiency in Magnet/Topcon Office and familiarity with construction management software is preferred but not mandatory (e.g., Procore, Acumatica, Primavera P6, MS Project, Microsoft 365, or similar).

• FAA Part 107 Drone License (required or willingness to obtain within 6 months).

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Must be available for full-time travel.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test is required prior to the start date.
