This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage collection activities, payment order processes, enforcement of extrajudicial instruments, judgment enforcement actions, and possessory actions associated with the portfolio's contractual obligations.

• Prepare and review legal documents for court, including complaints, answers, replies, motions, appeals, and procedural incidents.

• Execute enforcement actions and asset-seizure initiatives, which encompass asset search analysis, SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, attachments, valuations, sales, and other strategies aimed at asset recovery and debt collection.

• Evaluate contracts, documents, procedural history, and evidence to identify risks, inconsistencies, and devise the appropriate litigation approach.

• Actively oversee proceedings to prevent the suspension or termination of enforcement actions before all viable debt-recovery options have been utilized.

• Oversee deadlines, publications, and judicial and administrative tasks, including payment of court fees, procedural diligences, land-registry entries, searches, receipts, and other necessary documentation.

• Compute and validate calculations and amounts related to claims, especially in collection efforts, enforcement actions, and judgment enforcement processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed law degree.

• Active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Extensive experience in Civil Law, Contract Law, Debt Recovery, and Civil Procedure.

• Excellent legal writing capabilities, producing precise, technical, and strategically-oriented court documents aimed at achieving the desired outcome.

• Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume caseload while identifying and prioritizing critical or strategic issues.

• Effective communication skills for teamwork and preparing reports for clients.
