Civil Engineer, Civil Engineering Technician – Senior Application Consultant, RIB 4.0 Expertise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Examine and address intricate application-related, technical, and subject-matter queries regarding RIB 4.0.

• Facilitate coordination within the expert team that includes Support, Product Management, and Development until a solution is delivered.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing expert, solution-focused assistance.

• Ensure adherence to established service levels and quality benchmarks.

• Investigate errors, identify root causes, and devise sustainable solutions.

• Analyze root causes at the system, process, and application levels.

• Detect, reproduce, and document software defects in a systematic manner.

• Implement long-term strategies to mitigate recurring issues.

• Compile and convey customer feedback and support insights to Product Management and Development.

• Contribute to the enhancement and continuous improvement of service and support processes.

• Build, sustain, and enhance support expertise.

• Develop and manage knowledge-base articles, solution documentation, and best practices.

• Encourage knowledge sharing and offer technical assistance to Support Engineers on complex issues.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of products, processes, and services.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related qualification.

• Proficient user knowledge of RIB 4.0.

• Strong understanding of construction processes and their representation within the system.

• Comprehensive technical knowledge of databases, interfaces, and system processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong focus on customer needs and effective communication skills.

• Experience in escalation management and collaboration across various functions.

• Ability to impart knowledge and provide technical support to colleagues.

• Independent, methodical, and accountable work approach.

• Proficient German language skills (minimum C1 level).

• Good command of English (B2 level or higher).

• Several years of experience in software or application support is advantageous.

• Familiarity with data exchange formats like JSON and XML is a plus.
