City Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy of event, venue, and artist listings for Montreal.

• Propose locally relevant parties, individuals, and narratives.

• Contribute to various RA formats, including RA Picks, Local News, This Week’s New Music, Mix Of the Day, and Socials channels.

• Serve as a visible and trusted liaison within Montreal’s electronic music community.

• Offer local insights on developments within the scene.

• Maintain consistent communication with the manager and the broader Global Content Network.

• Identify potential ticketing partnerships and facilitate introductions to the Revenue team.

• Assist promoters and venues in utilizing RA tools effectively.

• Uphold established priority relationships.

• Support outreach, introductions, handover, and follow-up processes.

• Possibly assist with nearby cities, translations, news writing, or local event support as commissioned add-ons.

• Reside in Montreal.

• Deeply integrated within the local electronic music scene with a broad existing network.

• Outgoing personality capable of quickly building networks.

• Proven track record of effective communication, both in-person and digital.

• A genuine passion and understanding of electronic music culture are essential.

• Commitment to embodying RA’s values.
