📋 Description

• Develop and implement a repeatable roadmap for Cisco Secure Workload, utilizing a controlled pilot and a phased rollout aligned with applications.

• Evaluate the current Secure Workload deployment within a varied enterprise context and suggest actionable next steps for wider adoption.

• Analyze application components, dependencies, and traffic patterns to facilitate workload visibility and segmentation decisions.

• Strategize and execute the deployment of agents across supported enterprise systems, identifying alternative visibility methods when agents are unsuitable.

• Formulate segmentation policies and verify application communications prior to staged enforcement.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, identity, network, and application stakeholders throughout the planning and implementation phases.

• Produce implementation documentation, operational procedures, and a repeatable onboarding process for future applications.

• Partner with customer team members, offering hands-on coaching and ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer.

• Provide support for an initial pilot involving 250 licenses/servers within an environment comprising approximately 3,000 servers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience at a senior level with Cisco Secure Workload or a similar workload visibility and microsegmentation platform.

• Proven experience in planning application-based segmentation and mapping application dependencies and traffic flows.

• Familiarity with deploying workload agents across both Windows and Linux enterprise settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking, identity services, shared services, security policies, and application communication flows.

• Experience in developing, validating, and operationalizing segmentation policies in complex environments.

• Proficiency in producing clear technical documentation and establishing repeatable implementation and operating procedures.

• Strong customer-facing communication, facilitation, collaboration, and hands-on knowledge transfer abilities.

• Availability during EST business hours, from 8 am to 5 pm.
