CICD Build Engineer – FedRAMP IL5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage build and deployment systems that adhere to FedRAMP High and IL5 standards.

• Convert security and compliance directives into practical implementations, including access control, audit logging, secret management, vulnerability response, and evidence gathering.

• Monitor and sustain build health, speed, and precision in collaboration with product engineering teams.

• Work alongside the SRE team to guarantee the scalability and availability of the build system.

• Anticipate, identify, and address issues proactively.

• Oversee triage and remediation initiatives across various product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in development, build, and release engineering.

• Proven experience in creating modular build systems and tools for scalable continuous infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, GitHub, Buildkite, CircleCI, and/or RWX.

• Proficient with distributed version control systems like Git, GitLab, and/or GitHub.

• Experience utilizing containers within build environments.

• Knowledge of AWS, Artifactory, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Linux and open-source software.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Shell, Groovy, Ruby, or similar languages.

• Experienced with JavaScript/TypeScript and React toolchains and pipelines.

• Familiar with Ruby on Rails and RSpec pipelines.

• Bonus: experience with Elastic Stack and Grafana.

• Bonus: familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5, FISMA, GovRAMP, or similar regulated environments.

• Bonus: experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or other isolated cloud platforms.

• Bonus: experience with infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, service mesh, zero-trust patterns, or compliance automation.
