This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Direct the Chiller portfolio strategy for designated markets within a sales region.
• Act as the representative for the Chiller Sales Team in assigned market business sectors and facilitate feedback coordination.
• Lead the reporting efforts concerning revenue, expenses, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist regional marketing with evaluations of market growth and projections of product volumes.
• Report on product market share and pinpoint areas for growth.
• Prepare targets and forecasts for the product portfolio; identify inconsistencies and relay recommendations.
• Monitor product and competitor performance to uncover opportunities.
• Cultivate familiarity with sales offices and distribution channels.
• Recognize and address training needs utilizing York Chiller expertise and materials.
• Support regional leaders in customer meetings, job site visits, customer office engagements, and visits to JCI facilities.
• Represent the Chiller product portfolio and manage channel account relationships.
• Track K/T/M consultants and drive BOD where applicable.
• Advocate for and engage in TAS reviews.
• Coordinate chiller marketing communications, initiatives, product launches, and phase-in/phase-out schedules.
• Collaborate with global product line management on product positioning and competitive advantages.
• Actively participate in ASHRAE and industry organizations such as IDEA.
• Lead the product roadmap, competitive positioning, identification of product gaps, and recommendations for system solutions.
• Establish strategic market-based pricing and monitor market prices, costs, transfer prices, and profitability.
• Develop pricing strategies for both new and existing products.
• Gather market requirements and competitive intelligence through interactions with customers and sales teams.
• Analyze market size, share, opportunities, and forecast potential gains.
• Provide support for front-line product applications, modifications, quotations, positioning, promotion, and application assistance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MS/MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of robust experience with HVAC / Chiller equipment and systems in product or program management, marketing, or sales is required.
• Proven business leadership capabilities within a product management setting.
• Strong comprehension of field and business practices related to the specified products.
• Technically proficient.
• Skilled in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficient with Internet software and Email.
• Capacity to conceive and implement innovative tools for rapid and effective communication with the field, integrating high technical complexity and commercial interests.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
