Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, 1099 Contractor, Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake sessions and regular follow-up appointments.

• Perform psychiatric evaluations.

• Offer medication management.

• Develop personalized treatment plans customized to each developmental stage.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods and medication management techniques for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Create a collaborative, family-focused treatment atmosphere.

• Educate families about mental health matters and involve them in care planning.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions while maintaining consistent communication with members and their families.

• Partake in team meetings and collaborative care planning sessions.

• Provide consultative support to fellow team members.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance the quality of care continuously.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical, patient-centered care principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

• Active license in at least one state.

• Preferred experience in providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting, although not mandatory.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype).

• Proven skills in family engagement.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and understanding of JCAHO guidelines.

• Competence in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
