Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments, develop precise diagnoses, and design tailored treatment plans.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic methods and medication management approaches for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Cultivate collaborative treatment settings, educate families, involve them in care planning, and offer guidance on supportive strategies at home.

• Conduct remote psychiatric consultations and maintain consistent communication with members and their families.

• Engage in team meetings, collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to colleagues.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation of evaluations, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and continually enhance the quality of care.

• Maintain adherence to regulatory and quality standards while participating in ongoing professional development.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake sessions and regular follow-up appointments.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state.

• Preferred experience in providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting (video and teletherapy), though not mandatory.

• Proficient in computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).

• Proven skills in family engagement and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and understanding of JCAHO guidelines, with competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
