Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, NY Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop medication treatment plans, and provide ongoing medication management services for children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with the InStride care team as well as outpatient pediatricians and psychiatrists.

• Engage in clinical team meetings centered on patient care, collaboration, and education.

• Schedule patient appointments as necessary and ensure documentation is completed in a timely and comprehensive manner.

• Offer insights on workflow enhancements and suggestions for program expansion and innovation.

• Foster and maintain a professional, welcoming environment for patients, families, staff, and referring physicians.

• Work closely with families, primary care physicians, and outpatient prescribers to address patient needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid MD license in New York relevant to the clinical specialty.

• Willingness to obtain medical licenses in additional states as care extends to new regions.

• Dedication to delivering compassionate and thoughtful treatment.

• Proficiency in medication management for children and teenagers dealing with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.

• Capability to complete documentation efficiently and thoroughly.

• Comfort in collaborating within a care team and both seeking and providing support.

• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and professionally in a dynamic environment.

• Flexibility.

• Competence in handling sensitive and confidential information.

• Basic computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
